Kuhi Comfort Travel Review Review 2016 – Full Review

Introduction

Getting rest while traveling is always a bit of a lottery. You could be hemmed in between really loud talkers or heaven forbid a cranky baby.

It could be that your seat does not recline or maybe the ambient temperature does not agree with your usual sleep preferences.

Given all of this, most travelers counts themselves lucky if they can squeeze in a small amount of sleep while they are traveling. However it does not have to be so.

Using the right pillow suited for your sleep style along with taking care of other environment variables can lead to sound and refreshing sleep even in a travel setting.

The Kuhi Comfort travel pillow is a favorite among many travelers and for some very good reasons too.

There are some drawbacks however, which you might want to take into account before taking the plunge into purchasing this piece of equipment.

The Design

The Kuhi Comfort travel pillow looks like a squishy dumbbell. It has two large lobes which are joined together by a narrow piece of fabric.

The pillow lobes are designed to support each side of your head as you sleep. This is a neat innovation as it eliminates the fat piece of cushion that would be behind your neck if you were using a donut shaped pillow.

Now this sort of a design is great if you are the sort of traveler who inclines their head to the side while sleeping. On the other hand it is not at all great if your head tips forward while sleeping.

The added “twist” quite literally in the product is that the two lobes can be twisted and repositioned as required for your unique sleeping comfort.

This gives the product a good range of customization that is lacking in other products.

The Construction

The two cushions of the Kuhi are soft and plush. They are filled with polyester fiber and they feel like they are the right balance between soft and firm.

The cushions are covered with a polyester microfibre velvet that will ensure that you do not have creases and weird markings on the side of your face once you wake up from a nap.

Unlike most other travel pillows, the entire Kuhi pillow can be washed in the machine and tumble dried. This is very useful for frequent travelers.

The Kuhi also comes with a travel case that wraps up the pillow in a space saving manner. This is easily attachable to your travel bag.

Who is it for?

The Kuhi as we have seen works great if you incline your head to the side when you are sleeping. If you typically pitch your head down to catch a few winks, then you may find the Kuhi uncomfortable.

With a little practice however I believe anyone should be able to find a comfortable enough position with the Kuhi.

It certainly has the potential for providing you with long hours of sleep once you get the hang out of it. For an average size person, it should work perfectly.

Given that it is easy to carry and also is washable, it is a worthy buy for anyone who travels a fair amount of time.
